Skills Course Overview

Coastal SUP is designed for paddlers wishing to explore SUP in the Coastal environment. This course introduces paddlers to ocean safety and basic navigation techniques with an emphasis on fun

Course Objectives:

Minimum Personal Equipment:

SUP paddle, appropriate PFD, Stand Up Paddleboard with appropriate leash, appropriate clothing for the weather including the ability to carry extra equipment.

Two days (16 hours) minimum

Course Location / Accessible Venues

5 Participants: 1 Instructor; with an additional qualified assistant, the ratio can be 10 : 2. The maximum number of participants permitted is 10.

Instructor

This course may be offered by Level 3: Coastal SUP ACA Instructors, Instructor Trainers, or Instructor Trainer Educators.
